Manual Coffee Grinder

This was my group’s project for a machine design class. We were tasked with designing and manufacturing a functional coffee grinder with provided conical burrset and bevel gearset and required to engineer infinite life into all manufactured parts (shafts, housings).

The finished coffee grinder features a sprung, threaded wheel to adjust grind size, set screws to adjust concentricity between the two burrs, and bearing-mounted shafts to enable smooth grinding operation.
