Push-to-Latch Compliant Mechanism

I designed this mechanism as part of another project before scrapping it for another solution due to a fundamental redesign, making this mechanism no longer of use. It is a bistable mechanism that utilizes two compliant components, a one-way cam and a bistable locking feature. Rails down the center of the female component of the mechanism interface with a rail on the male component to make align the two parts. The female component, despite featuring a portion that moves across the rails, is 3D printed in one piece. The latch itself can support over 20lbs of weight when locked.
